Marie Fritz Perry has years of experience as an artist as well as a competitive rider. She is equally skilled at depicting both human, equine and canine subjects, and as a rider, she personally understands the bond between horse and rider and the love each client has for his/her equine teammate.

Working from photographs her clients provide - or through sketches and photographs she produces on site - she strives to capture each client’s vision in an equine or canine portrait for the home, office, or show barn. She provides each of her clients a work of art based upon a close personal relationship she develops with them.

Marie interviews each client to understand their vision, the “dream image” they want displayed in the portrait. Then she is able to depict one unique memory of horse and rider together, or capture the spirit of that special horse or dog known personally and deeply through the eyes of each client, in a one-of a-kind oil, color pencil, or pastel portrait.
